Domaine de l'etang de Bazange (Domaine de Bazange Lake)
An air of Tuscany in the Périgord Pourpre...
Domaine de l‘Etang de Baznge Campsite is set in the heart of the Périgord Pourpre, in an area whose rolling hillside vineyards give it a Tuscan air and where the Dordogne River winds nonchalantly through its sun-filled valley with orchards and vines scattered along its banks. The fifty-plot campsite is situated at Monfaucon between Bergerac and St Emilion.
Domaine de l’Etang de Bazange for nature-lovers and anglers
Nestled snugly in the valley, Domaine de l’Etang de Bazange has 9 hectares of woodland and sunlit terraces planted with aromatic plants. People who enjoy real, genuine countryside cannot help but fall in love with this spot and its oddly ‘Y’-shaped, fish-filled, 3 ha lake has been drawing in anglers for a long time.
Come and discover a calm and peaceful spot and see for yourselves how restful yet invigorating our countryside can be. It also makes the perfect base for visiting Bergerac, St Emilion and the surrounding area. Explore the Dordogne River’s meanders by canoe; find out why it’s known as the “Rivière Espérance”.
